Workshops
Cal is an award-winning teacher who offers workshops on the two books he has co-authored: How to Speak Shakespeare and Introduction to Play Analysis. He has taught his Shakespeare workshop for teachers, actors and directors literally from Northern and Southern California to New York City, and on a ship sailing around the world. He has taught play analysis -- with emphasis on understanding a play's central conflict -- to teachers, directors, actors, and laypersons from age fourteen and up. Each workshop can be customized to the host's needs and interests.
In addition, Cal has taught auditioning workshops for high school, undergraduate and graduate students. He is especially interested in coaching monologue auditions.
